Short version: this site counts pages, not people, and the recovery pages count nothing at all.

This website

  • Analytics are Plausible, a privacy-respecting counter that uses no cookies and collects no personal data, so there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • The recovery pages carry no analytics at all./recover and its Windows variant load no analytics script, no fonts from third parties, nothing that phones anywhere. A grieving person's visit is not data.
  • There are no accounts, no forms and no newsletter, so this site holds no personal information about you.
  • Articles may contain affiliate links, disclosed on the page; what a merchant collects after you click is governed by their policy, not ours.

The tool

Executor File the tool runs entirely on your machine. Nothing leaves it: no server, no account, no telemetry, no sync. The scripts work with the network unplugged, and the register they produce is yours, encrypted, on your own storage.
